FAQ
Most people dress casually but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. We are pretty sure the way you dress doesn’t matter to God, so it doesn’t matter to us.
We have two Sunday gatherings starting at 9:00 am, and 11:00 am. Each gathering is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
The gathering starts with about twenty minutes of live music with Hub City Worship. You are welcome to sing along. The lyrics are shown on screen at the front of the auditorium. This is followed by a 35-45 minute message. We close with prayer and music.
Just come in, relax and enjoy. We won’t make you say anything.
You don’t have to bring anything! We serve coffee, tea, beverages and snacks for you to enjoy during the gathering. If you have a Bible bring it, if not we have one that you can use.
During our Sunday gathering we offer classes and childcare from nursery thru 8th grade. Our caring nursery staff and high energy teachers are here to provide a safe, caring, Bible-based experience for your children.
Our music is considered contemporary and is easy to sing along to. If you don’t know the words, don’t worry, they will be projected onto the screen at the front of the auditorium.
In 1982, John Wimber, who had been a pastor and church consultant, was asked to serve as the leader of a newly formed association of about nine churches (all in Southern California) that now call themselves Vineyard USA. Learn more.
Hub City Vineyard began because the world needs more places where people can come as they are and encounter God.
What We Do?
Connect. Relate. Serve.
Start With Why
Learn how HCV began, why we do what we do, and where we are going. Before you commit to our community of faith, you should ask yourself, “Why HCV?”
START WITH WHY is held on the first Sunday of every month – Join Chris immediately after Sunday gatherings (9am & 11am).
Team Up
This is who we are as a church. There’s nothing quite like finding your God given purpose through ministry with others. Every ministry team at HCV is an opportunity to Connect, Relate, & Serve.
TEAM UP is held on the second Sunday of every month – Join Kelsi immediately after Sunday gatherings (9am & 11am).
Now What
If you’re going to be serious about following Jesus, you have to value what Jesus values. NOW WHAT is designed to help you personally understand what following Jesus looks like for you and your life.
NOW WHAT is a 4 week, short-term small group that meets Sunday Mornings at HCV
Get In A Group
You weren’t made to do this alone. You can come to weekend services regularly for the rest of you life and never become who God made you to be. Real friendships are vital to following Jesus and growing your faith. Build meaningful friendships, learn how to personally live out your faith, and grow closer Jesus..
Growth groups sign ups happen at the beginning of each Group Session. (Fall, Winter & Spring)
Help Someone Grow
Once you begin to follow Jesus, it can’t be just about you. Jesus commanded all his followers to “make disciples”. (Matt. 28:19-20).
Who are you encouraging to take a next step? Who are you helping grow?
So invite someone to join you at HCV on a Sunday. Commit to pray daily for a co-worker, neighbor or friend. Look outside yourself and ask yourself, “Who can I serve today?”
